The Land Before Time Quotes

Littlefoot: If you struggle more, you'll only sink faster!

Movie: The Land Before Time
Littlefoot: You want to go with me?
Ducky: YEAH! Oh... Oh, yes, yes, yes! I do! I do!
Littlefoot: Alright, come on. But you'll have to keep up.
Ducky: I will keep up. I will.

Movie: The Land Before Time
Narrator: Cera, are you awake? Look, I um... it's just... I, um... It's just that... Oh, this is so much harder than yelling. Look, Tria is an old friend and she doesn't have anyone. She needs protection and she's really nice. What I mean is... Well, she likes me and I like her.
Cera: But I want things back the way they were before. When you didn't like anybody and nobody likes you.
Narrator: I don't think things are ever going to be that way again.
Cera: Hmm! [Cera sniffles and tears come out of her eyes]

Movie: The Land Before Time
Petrie: I fly?
Ducky: No, you falled.
Petrie: I FALL?
Ducky: You cannot fly? But how did you get way up there?
Petrie: I climb.
Littlefoot: But you are a flyer, not a faller.
Petrie: Hard thing, to fly. [imitates a shot down airplane]
Littlefoot: I guess it is. We can't do it.
Ducky: Nope. We cannot do that alright.

Movie: The Land Before Time
[shows planets in space and Petrie starts to narrate]
Petrie: A long, long time ago, when big dots in sky where even more shiny and great circle real smooth - not pockety like now. And whole world very different. But then, there were no threehorn, no longneck - not even sharptooth! No, only one type animal, which fill sky with mighty screech and big blubby sound. This most smart, most brave and handsome creature to ever rule world. The fliers!
Cera: *What!* Hold it right there! That's not even *close* to the way it happens.

Movie: The Land Before Time
[when Cera, Littlefoot, Petrie and Spike come up to the edge of a cliff]
Cera: Oh great, we'll never catch those beakheads. It'll take us all day to climb down this side and up the other one.
Littlefoot: Maybe we won't have to, look! [they see some vines that look like bridges]
Littlefoot: Those vines look strong enough. I'll bet we could use them to walk across.
Cera: Oh no, not this threehorn!
Petrie: Cera scardeyegg, Cera-.
Cera: Hey! I'm not a scardeyegg. But every time we sneak off and leave the great valley, we have to get across some giant ditch or pointy rocks or something.
Littlefoot: Yeah?
Cera: And somehow, the only way to do it is to use some tippy bouldor or rotten old log.
Spike: Aha?
Cera: And I always end up at the back of the line, falling off or getting chased by a sharptooth!
Petrie: She do have a point.
Littlefoot: So, what are you gonna' do about it?
Cera: Well, erm - this time, I'm gonna' be the one who goes first. So if there's trouble, I won't be behind screaming my head off, no! This time, I'm gonna be safe.
Littlefoot: Well, ok.
