Steve Albini: When I came to Chicago to go to college, I brought with me a guitar that I had bought at a pawn shop in Montana. It was a Mosrite The Ventures model, and I knew that it had some value, so I thought, well, I'll trade this for a guitar that is newer and fancier. I made what is probably the worst deal ever for a guitar. I traded that guitar - the Mosrite The Ventures model guitar. I later found out it was an exceedingly early, rare, super-valuable one - I didn't know that at the time.
